I've made this for a challenge on Daisytrail. The requirement was to keep it minimal with lots of 'white space'. I've used the same photo as on my Cygnet Musings page. Which goes to show that one picture can look quite different, depending on the LO.
I used a kit called Equinox from One Little bird.

It feels to me like summer was months ago and it's so Autumnal now. It really was a lovely summer with proper summer weather! So I've been scrapping some of my holiday photos, trying to hang on to that summer feeling. This is Poppy on the beach ...only 3 weeks ago !!!

Template Challenge
Templates are such a useful tool - I use them from time to time when I have a photo to scrap and lack any kind of inspiration. This is the photo I want to scrap and I have no idea where to start. I like to use templates that are unusual and different to the norm and this fits the bill perfectly. So I am setting myself the challenge of creating a page from this one. So here goes...watch this space for the page I produce from the template (fingers crossed lol ) x

Cygnet Musings
Yesterday, we took Matt back to college. It's so exciting seeing him doing what he wants to do. But also tinged with sadness that he is no longer a t home. I've made this page to mark the occasion. Used Equinox, a kit by One Little Bird. I am always surprised at how good it feels to get my thoughts down on paper, I really should do it more often! :)
Photo is by Matt.

Seasonal Finds
I've been having a look around for some Autumn themed kits and love this one from Sahlin Studio. I love the colours and can't wait to use it.
Available here http://sahlinstudio.com/
And in complete contrast is this bright, fun kit from Gina Miller ( how sweet is that little bird)! Unfortunately, I couldn't find this on her blog. But it is available here http://the-lilypad.com/store/Hootsy.html

The Fox Debate...
Now, I know that lots of people see foxes as vermin. Especially the urban fox. I can see their point of view, but I can't help but admire their tenacity and ability to adapt. The photo in this page was taken by Matt this summer. We have foxes thriving at the end of our garden and we love watching them and their cubs playing and basking in the sun. They don't actually cause us too many problems, apart from a lot of noise from time to time. I also have no idea what they eat as our bins, fortunately, remain untouched. We also do not feed them, believing that nature is best left alone with no interference from us!
Anyway, hope you like the picture. Matt waited along time hidden in the bushes to get the shot lol :)
